Remember Duke Lacrosse? Michael Nifong was the Prosecutor who was forced to resign and who was disbarred in NC for being overly zealous in prosecuting the Duke Lacrosse players for rape.

In 1997, Assistant State's Attorneys Mark Karner and Glen Weber, under the leadership of State's Attorney Paul Logli, sought 1st degree murder charges (and ultimately tried and got a conviction) against Ted Kuhl in the murder of Janet Nivinski. The problem is: Ted Kuhl is innocent!

With State's Attorney Paul Logli now on the 17th Circuit bench, one must ask, will the newly appointed State's Attorney Phil Nicolosi do anything to right this wrong? Is he willing to risk implicating his predecessor for wrong doing and all that would go with that? We shall see...stay tuned.
